What does it cost?

We do not charge a fare, but we do suggest you make a donation to help cover our costs.  This is a voluntary donation, and your journey can be free where necessary.  However, without donations we should not be able to continue providing this service.

If you wish to make a donation we suggest a level of contribution that would help to cover our costs for that journey.

As an example, for local journeys within Alton we suggest £5, and for Basingstoke Hospital £18.  For other destinations, see the list below and the document which can be downloaded from this page.

Our drivers do not accept tips.  This is a very strict rule.  We have to operate within the regulations laid out by His Majesty's Revenue and Customs, and tips count as income for drivers and would be declarable on their tax returns.

For journeys to destinations within Alton, including Alton Community Hospital, the Wilson Practice (Alton Health Centre), Chawton Park Surgery, Alton Cardiac Rehabilitation, and various dentists, we suggest a donation of £5.
